It's Founder and main promoter is Ugandan-born Bishop Edmond Kizito, then a foreign correspondent for international media groups such as Reuters News Agency and the Voice of America, among others. The company only began operations in 1996, publishing a string of social magazines in East Africa. It grew from a narrow capital base of under $40,000 to an international group worth US$ 4 million, within four months. The plan at the time was to grow a fully-integrated Global Media House.
Mr Kizito sold off the business in early 1998 to pursue a religious career. In 2001 he revisited his business plans. He travelled around the world, studying and creating plans for growth into the global market. He also developed Management Systems to buttress this global Media business vision.Around 2007, having created robust, world-class systems, he began to expand this business vision from a decidedly Media-centric one, to include Property, Finance, Services and Consulting.
In 2013 a business trial was launched for the Media wing alone. The Management Systems earlier developed won the company an Award from the Federation of Ugandan Employers (FUE) -- a government regulatory agency -- during that trial.
